    NOTE: the Old Library Cafe was damaged in a fire in October 2011 and is currently closed.  The historic building will be rebuilt and in time the Old Library will re-open (last update: 25/10/2011).

  • The Farm Barn Cafe

    On the corner of Mt Michael Road and the Fairlie / Geraldine Highway (SH 79) the Farm Barns looks out over the valley.  Superb meals in a warm wooden building.  You'll need to get in early in winter for a cosy seat by the roaring fire. Open 7 days for brunch, lunch and late lunch.  The Farm Barn also sells a wide range of New Zealand crafts and clothing.
